Job description:

• pursuing a PhD in the thematic field of International Financial Markets, Monetary Policy, Sustainable Financial Behavior, Finance and Inequality
• active participation in the research and teaching activities of the Chair of Macroeconomics as well as administrative support (3SWS)
• active contribution to refereed publications and presentations at scientific conferences

Requirements profile:

• MSc degree (or equivalent) with honors in Economics or related areas
• Enthusiasm for topics related to macroeconomics and financial markets and prior knowledge in these fields
• very good knowledge in working with econometric software as well as experiences in using economic data for empirical analyses (e.g. in the context of a master thesis)
• adequate language skills in English and German (or the willingness to learn German)
• strong motivation to acquire new skills and to develop a scientific career
