QF is a two-year Master of Science programme entirely taught in English. It provides a unique opportunity for graduate study of frontier mathematical and statistical techniques applied to financial markets. After a first year of introduction to the standard concepts of probability, economic and finance, the student will be driven to a specialized study leading to four main professional figures: Pricer, Asset Manager, Risk Manager, Insurance Market Spacialist. The programme has a strong international profile. In addition to the numerous Erasmus exchanges offered, the School of Economics has concluded some Double/Multiple Degree agreements with prestigious European Universities and Business Schools. Those students who are qualified for access to the exchange have the chance to spend one or two semesters at the partner Universities, achieving a minimum of 30 credits (ECTS) and gaining at the end of this study path, based on a recognition procedure, two or three fully legal titles. Admission is regulated by an assessment of the candidate's skills. Financial aid available. Non-EU/International students may apply from from February 20th to April 16th, 2012 on the basis of the scheduled deadlines. Should the available positions be not fully covered after the first two intakes, the third intake (from April 18h to May 28th, 2012) will be extended to Non-EU students too.  EU students and students with an equivalent status may apply from February 20th to July 26th , 2012 on the basis of the scheduled deadlines.
