The MSc in Economics is a two year graduate programme entirely taught in English, characterized by  general-purpose and international flavour. It is aimed at training both applied economists and students wishing to apply for PhD courses at a later stage.  The programme covers economic theory and policy, business and management economics, fundamentals of European law and public economics, applied economics and econometrics. Particular emphasis is placed on the analysis of real-world problems.

The programme trains students in theoretical and applied economics through course work, participation in seminars, and supervised research within a supportive environment. The organization of teaching activities is meant to stimulate constant and active participation of students, and a personalized relationship with the academic staff.

The MSc in Economics is not devoted only to students holding a bachelor's degree in Economics. It is also a good match for students with background in such fields as political sciences, engineering, mathematics and statistics, willing to understand economic issues more in depth having previously acquired only basic concepts.
