The aim is to provide young researchers with a detailed overview of the main methods used in empirical and theoretical research in development economics. Topics include 1)Households (families, human capital and poverty), 2)Finance, property rights, labor markets/institutions, farm/firm productivity, 3)Political economy, 4)Networks. Selected papers and research projects by participants will be presented and discussed during the day. Other partecipants who do not wish to present a paper are also welcome....
