Economics Directory

INOMICS is currently working on new ways of providing a comprehensive directory for economists. Your ideas and input on this are highly appreciated. In the past, INOMICS provided "EconDir" as a directory for economists. EconDir was entirely based on the Open Directory Project (dmoz). You are invited to send your suggestions or comments on how to improve the existing quality and scope of directories in economics.

How to build a new directory for economics

In the meantime, please see our directory of Economics Institutions.

You might also be interested in directory services provided by partners of INOMICS:

Research Papers in Economics. The giant collaborative volunteer effort to enhance the dissemination of research in economics provides Research Papers in Economics (RePEc). See the section Papers on INOMICS. RePEc is masterminded by Christian Zimmermann at University of Connecticut.

EDIRC. Being part of RePEc, EDIRC - Economics Departments, Institutes and Research Centers is a searchable index of economics departments, institutes and research centers throughout the World.

Resources for Economists. An extensive guide of economics-related information on the web provides Resources for Economists on the Internet (RFE). RFE is sponsored by the American Economics Association and edited by Bill Goffe.

Open Directory Project. The Open Directory Project (dmoz) is managed by Netscape and is maintained by volunteer editors from all over the world who evaluate economics sites for inclusion in the directory. It is also know as dmoz.org.

INOMICS currently does not integrate any dmoz listings but might do so again, in the future. We welcome your feedback at info@inomics.com
