"The proposed faculty member would form an integral part of the teaching and research programs in the Department of International Health, Health Systems Program. S/he would teach health economics, economic evaluation of policies and programs, or econometric methods with applications in developing countries. S/he should be able to advise doctoral students pursuing DrPH and PhD degrees in these areas. The candidate should be prepared to do research and collaborate in low and middle-income countries in the area of health economics.
Qualifications:
Required: Doctoral level degree in economics, health economics, or public health with a specialization in health economics, and have experience in conducting research and teaching about economic methods and economic evaluation of health programs and policies in developing countries.
Desired: Experience with econometric modeling or complex adaptive systems; experience in health policy, research, and teaching in developing countries.
