The University of Neuchâtel invites applications for a position of 

Full Professor or Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in International Economics

Job description: The successful candidate will have an interest in empirical analysis of international economic issues relevant to public and private entities, and demonstrate research expertise in at least one of the following areas: international trade, development economics, or sustainability. Teaching duties will be in the Bachelor in economics and management as well as in the Master in applied economics. 

Requirements: Candidates must have a PhD in Economics, a proven track record of publications in leading academic journals or ongoing research with strong potential, and excellent pedagogical skills. A willingness to engage with economic actors at the national and regional level, and good knowledge of Switzerland’s economic context will be considered as an advantage. The teaching languages are French and English. Non-French speakers are expected to teach in French after two years.

Starting date: August 1st, 2025 or by agreement
