Deakin University, Melbourne, Australia offers PhD positions in Economics to international students of outstanding academic merit. Applicants must:

• hold a master’s degree with thesis component or an honours degree in Economics or related fields (students with a science or engineering background, who are interested in applying their analytical skills to the study of problems relevant to economics, are also welcome to apply);

not be citizens or permanent residents of Australia or New Zealand;

• satisfy all academic requirements for entry to the PhD program including English proficiency levels.
