CFS conducts independent and internationally oriented research in the fields of financial markets, financial intermediaries and monetary economics. POST DOC POSITION "CFS Data Center"


We are looking for:

- A Post-Doc Researcher with a Ph.D. in Business Administration or Economics as head of the new CFS Data Center

- The main objective of the newly to be established CFS Data Center is to provide easy access to data sets for CFS researchers and fellows

- The CFS Data Center will host data from three different sources: commercial data sets; data sets that are publicly available free of charge; and proprietary data sets

- The task of the head of the CFS data center will be to identify useful data sets, acquire them, process these data and make them easily accessible for the CFS community

Requirements:

- Data-oriented own research agenda

- Past experience with empirical work in the area of finance or economics

- Good knowledge of IT related issues coupled with the willingness to engage in such processes

- Very good knowledge of the English language

- Flexibility and team work
