The “Impact of Higher Education Institutions on Regional Economies” research initiative is holding a major international conference in Edinburgh on 16-17 November 2010. Up to 10 sponsored places are available for early career researchers who are interested in the social and economic role of higher education, and in communicating this to a wider audience. Researchers will have the opportunity to present their own research in a poster session, and there will be a prize for the best poster.
