The Department of Economics at St. Francis Xavier University invites applications for a limited term position at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor for the academic year 2009-10. Strong candidates in any field of Economics will be considered.

Applicants must have completed or nearly completed a Ph.D. in Economics. Applicants are requested to submit a curriculum vitae, sample(s) of research or published work, a statement of teaching philosophy and teaching evaluations, and to arrange to have sent three letters of reference under separate cover. Applications will be considered from May 15 until the position is filled. This position is subject to final budgetary approval.
